Drawn Together Workshops together with host and guest artist artist Liz Dickinson delivered a fantastic 6 week series at the Twisted Currant tea room. The course sold out for a second year in a row.

Overview:

During the course, we learned about different systems of drawing, using a variety of methods and processes that enabled discovery. Working on paper and in sketchbooks, Liz helped the students to build confidence and navigated the group through composition using collage and a wide range of drawing mediums.

This really was an evolution of drawing exploration for all who took part. In the final part of the series we worked towards a final piece of artwork. It was wonderful to see how the students progressed. finally we took time to look at all the art work created and to reflect on new skills and knowledge and had an in depth discussion on how to use this course and a spring board into developing more work going forward.
