About the Workshops

Our contemporary art workshops are lovingly created to help you discover, rejuvenate or kick start your art journey. We offer a range of affordable workshops and courses that can help build confidence and tap into your creative flow. Each workshop is uniquely designed to explore a range of art materials, subject matter and styles. Topics covered include, Still Life, Abstraction, Landscape and more. The workshops have a great emphasis on drawing, while a range of media/medium will be also be used such as, ink, paint, charcoal, chalks, pastel, collage, print.

Who are the courses for?

Whether you are an established artist looking to expand or progress in your art practice or a total beginner with a call to explore your creative energy, our workshops can help you find expression and creative power. Drawn Together Workshops are for everyone who wishes to develop an art practice, meet new people, have good fun and find your unique art voice along the way.

Workshop locations

Our workshops are situated in the beautiful village of Porthleven, Cornwall. We have a number of locations and spaces around the historic harbour village and local area: These include, Twisted Currant Tea Room, The Shipyard Market, the harbour, scenic coast paths and areas of outstanding natural beauty such as Loe Bar, National Trust Estates, Beaches and local community spaces and more.

How to book

Using our page ‘Book a Workshop’ found at the top of this webpage, you will find a list of all the latest up and coming workshops and courses. Here you are able to select the workshops you wish to attend and pay in advance with our secure payment process. Once you have booked and paid you will receive a welcome email with further information about what to expect form the workshop and any other helpful info that may be necessary.

What to expect on a course or workshop

Our fun and friendly courses are a wonderful chance to network, meet new people, share creative ideas and outcomes, develop new skills and to expand on your approach to art work.

Be a part of a small artistic community, in a safe, welcoming and inclusive space, our workshops are intermate and chatty, as well as insightful and educational.

You will be given clear guidance and support from our team with helpful and positive feed back and will be given the opportunity to work and engage as a group and support fellow students as well as working independently. Each workshop will offer a clear lesson delivered by our Art Teachers/Artists and you will have the chance throughout to bring your voice, ideas and creations forth with time for joint discussions and questioning, we encourage you to be as involved as you wish with absolutely no pressure to join the open conversations, this is a relaxed environment always.

Materials , paper, resources and tools will be provided on every course, if you would like to bring your own tools, materials, sketchbooks and resources you are more than welcome to do so, we would love to see your work!

Refreshments will be available for purchase in the interval of each course and in some cases ( location depending ), refreshments may be included in the price depending on the nature of the course or workshop - you will be advised accordingly.
